Yea, we must’ve just missed each other. Another friend was out at the same time and I didn’t see her either. Though with so many people I am not entirely surprised.

Good to know about the bus.

I guess we just missed each other. My wife and I arrived at Mackenzie King Bridge Station, walked down the stairs to Confederation Park and checked out the ice sculptures at about 2ish yesterday.

Skating on the Rideau Canal is an awesome thing to do. Best times to go are not on the weekend though especially during Winterlude. Monday evening through to Fridays are the best if you can do it as the canal has been reflooded and not much traffic during the week.

Weekends though are interesting during Winterlude as you can skate from top to bottom (or bottom to top) and take the Bus-O-Neige back down the Queen Elizabeth Driveway to Dow's Lake for free courtesy of OC Transpo!

Enjoy the city, my wife and I are!

That happens at U of A too. You pretty much have to know someone to get a job. And half the time they might be interviewing you, but they have already picked the person they are hiring. You become the token interview so the union doesn't get mad and you really have no chance.

King’s banned the sale of bottled water on campus. Of course, only one canteen and a couple of vending machines sold bottled water, so it wasn’t hard, and they have made no effort to install more water fountains or fix the ones that are there. They just took it out of machines and put up a lot of posters about it.

Also, the Edinburgh fringe link does not work.
